Remarkable results you can see and feel

Fraxel re:pair™ laser treatment is a revolutionary new way to correct aged and damaged skin - without the prolonged downtime or adverse reactions of other resurfacing procedures. Fraxel re:pair™ treatment is the first and only system of it's kind that has FDA clearances for these conditions:

  • Wrinkles
  • Fine Lines
  • Irregular texture
  • Sun spots and age spots (pigmented lesions)
  • Sun-induced redness (vascular dyschromia)

How it works

With Fraxel re:pair™ treatment, you get dramatic results without going under the knife. Instead, Fraxel re:pair™ laser treatment uses points of light to precisely treat thousands of microscopic areas of your skin. The treatment penetrates deep into the skin to remove old, damaged skin cells, stimulates your body's own natural healing process, and replaces the cells with fresh, glowing, healthy skin.

Because the technology is so precise, Fraxel re:pair™ treatment works not only on the face, but also on delicate skin areas like the neck, chest and hands.

Laser Treatment for Leg and Facial Veins

Now you see them, now you don't!

Remove unsightly leg and facial veins with a cosmetic laser treatment. Red, blue or purple leg and facial veins can be a result of sun exposure, use of oral contraception, hormone therapy, age or genetics. Our cosmetic laser emits a prescribed dose of energy to the vein. The laser "selectively" targets the problem veins while sparing surrounding tissue. After treatment the vessel will naturally disappear. Typically only one or two treatments are required and results can be seen in 3-4 weeks. Treatment time usually varies between 10-20 minutes, depending on the size of the area treated, and causes only minimal discomfort. Any redness or swelling should be gone within a day, and you'll be able to resume normal activities immediately.

Laser Hair Removal

Remove unwanted hair faster and more effectively with laser hair removal treatments. Almost everyone has unwanted hair somewhere on their body. Traditional hair removal routines can be tedious, painful and expensive over time. Shaving may last a day and waxing a couple of weeks, but none of them lasts forever -- and therein lies the true beauty of laser hair removal. To eliminate hair, the laser emits gentle pulses of energy that pass through the skin to the hair follicle. This energy is then absorbed into the hair follicle to destroy it so that hair can never grow there again. Laser hair removal can be applied to all areas of the body and on all types of skin (even tanned or dark skin). The treatment causes minimal-to-no discomfort. Patients often say it feels similar to the snap of a rubber band. Slight redness or localized swelling can occasionally occur, but this usually subsides within the first 24 hours after treatment. Typically patients will see results in 2 - 4 treatments, although this number will vary based upon skin tone, hair color and several other factors. The doctor or nurse will discuss other variables that may affect your individual results.

Laser Treatment for Pigmented Lesions and Venous Lakes

If you're an active person, chances are you spend more than your fair share of time in the sun. And if you're over thirty, you are more than likely to show signs of premature aging due to sun damage. With laser treatments, you can now treat sun spots, pigmented lesions, and venous lakes, or discolored spots on the lips. Laser spot treatment works by directing a beam of light to an irregularity in the skin, such as enlarged blood vessels or irregular chromopores. This removes the abnormality without scarring or damage. The treatment causes only minimal discomfort and any initial soreness is easily alleviated with a cold air cooling system. Typically several sessions are required for spot treatments. The average treatment takes 10 - 15 minutes. You'll be able to return to normal activities immediately though sunscreen should be applied as a post-treatment precaution.

Laser Treatment for Redness due to Acne Scarring or Rosacea

Laser Facial treatments are designed to decrease skin redness brought on by acne scarring, rosacea and genetic factors. Unlike other treatments that remove an outer layer of skin and require significant healing time, laser treatment works by gently penetrating the skin to destroy the underlying vessels and pigment that are the cause of the problem. The outer skin itself is not damaged. A full-face session may take 20-30 minutes. Several sessions are required for optimal results. A decrease in redness may be seen after only one or two treatments. The treatment can be performed in a relaxed setting with the use of an air cooling system for added comfort.

Spider Veins (Sclerotherapy)

Diminishing Unsightly "Spider Veins"

Millions of women are bothered by spider veins -- those small yet unsightly clusters of red, blue, or purple veins that most commonly appear on the thighs, calves and ankles. In fact, it's estimated that at least half of the adult female population is plagued with this common cosmetic problem. With this simple procedure, veins are injected with a sclerosing solution, which causes them to collapse and fade from view. The procedure may also remedy the bothersome symptoms associated with spider veins, including aching, burning, swelling and night cramps.

Spider veins -- known as telangiectasias -- are small, thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin. Although these super-fine veins are connected with the larger venous system, they are not an essential part of it.

A number of factors contribute to the development or spider veins, including heredity, pregnancy and other events that cause hormonal shifts, weight gain, occupations or activities that require prolonged sitting or standing, and the use of certain medications.

Varicose veins differ from spider veins in a number of ways. Varicose veins are larger -- usually more that a quarter-inch in diameter, darker in color and tend to bulge. Varicose veins are also more likely to cause pain and be related to more serious vein disorders. For some patients, sclerotherapy can be used to treat varicose veins. However, surgical treatment is often necessary for this condition.

Women of any age may be good candidates for sclerotherapy, but most fall in the 30 to 60 year old category. In some women, spider veins may not become obvious until they reach their 40's.

Spider veins in men aren't nearly as common as they are in women. Men who do have spider veins often don't consider them to be a cosmetic problem because the veins are usually concealed by hair growth on the leg. However, sclerotherapy is just as effective for men who seek treatment.

Sclerotherapy can enhance your appearance and your self-confidence, but more than one treatment will be necessary and not all veins respond to treatment. The doctor or nurse will evaluate the degree of venous disease and plan a course of treatment specific to your needs.
